It is well-known that dynamic of world economic growth has moved to Asia. The so-called Little Tigers like South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, or Hong-Kong have gone through a fantastic development and China – beyond that – has got special attention of the World on the base of showing so rapid economic growth that make China determinative fact of world trade. The new strategy “Go Global” of Chinese Government established the possibility for Chinese companies to become multinational and gain better and better business positions in Europe, too.

 

Analysing the economic and business trends in the world, it is obvious that Asia goes to Europe with full of pep. According to the latest economic forecasts, it is said that China is getting to become the centre of world economy. Concerning to this fact there is a demand to get to know more and more about Asian business culture in order not to loose market or good business possibilities.

 

The economic, business education also has to be changed paying more attention to Far East and its development. It is said that bilateral change of students between Hungary and Asian countries can increase international competitiveness of our higher education and influence positively the basis of those Hungarian professionals who could promote the expeditious activity of Hungarian companies all over the world.

 

Hungary has all the possibility and capability for becoming the European centre of Asian-European business relations. At the moment there are very few samples for it, but it seems that situation begins to change and more and more company has realized how important is to know and adopt the Asian business culture and traditions in order to be able to do good business.

 

Our conference aims to provide up-to-date and reliable information about the recent situation concerning to the Asian-European economic connections and to find new possibilities and methods through making new contacts with the participants of the conference.

 

The main topic of the conference will be the following :

-          characteristics of Asian markets

-          results and problems of Asian-Hungarian connections

-          necessary arrangements from the side of the Government and companies in order to Hungary could become “gate between Asia and Europe

3.       The trends of Chinese economic relationship and investment in Hungary and Europe

4.       Laws and other economic barriers in Hungary and in the European Union – How the Asian capital investment can be promoted

5.       “Eastern gate to Europe” – Geopolitical situation of Hungary and the opportunity how can it be used in the field of the development of Asian-European economic connections

6.       Infrastructural demands concerning to the possible expansion and development of Asian-European trade – Development of existing and further logistic bases to support the Asian-Hungarian cooperation

7.       Financial connections and their future. Role of Asian banks in the economy of Hungary

8.       Korean strategy for economic development and its influence on Korean investments in Europe

9.       Specialities of Asian business culture, adaptation of European trade traditions
